End of the World Touring - Yoko's Knife - Thick AUS-8a Stainless Steel - Machine Ground

Thank you for looking. I found a knife that looks very similar to the one frequently used by the protagonist Yoko in the popular manga Shumatsu Touring, which has also been adapted into an anime. I'm happy to introduce it to you. Please note that this is not an official model, but simply my personal opinion that it looks very similar. Of course, the steel is not the Orihalcon (折春魂) that Yoko favors.

At first glance, it resembles a bladed weapon, but it does not have a curve in the blade and has a ricasso with a choil, so it does not fall under the category of bladed weapons as defined by the Swords and Firearms Control Law. Despite its nearly 5mm thick blade, it features a hollow grind with the spine ground away, significantly reducing the thickness near the edge. This is reassuring because even if it wears down from long use and sharpening, the edge width won't become too wide, making it easy to sharpen continuously. The fact that it cut reasonably well right out of the box is a testament to the AUS-8 (8A) steel made by Aichi Steel. However, this is not a steel that ends with just this level of sharpness. AUS-8 is a high stainless steel containing 0.75-0.9% carbon and 14% chromium, with molybdenum and vanadium not found in AUS-6, capable of achieving incredible sharpness. As usual, I have re-sharpened it using the specialized sharpening machine TORMEK T-8 from Sweden, setting the edge at the manufacturer's specified angle of 20 degrees per side, for a total of 40 degrees, from the heel to the tip. I will deliver it to you in a state where it can easily shave the fine hairs on your arm. The sheath is also impressive, and this is a sturdy, full-tang knife. The finely sharpened, first-class steel that can easily cut through receipts, and the appearance and finish are quite good. I personally feel like I want one myself.

After researching other sellers offering the same model, I found that it is originally quite an expensive item, with many listing it for around 7,800 to 11,080 yen. But, since it's Yoko's knife, I feel I have no choice but to price it at 4,500 yen for the wordplay. It's not profitable at all, so I would cry if you tried to negotiate the price. Please don't say things like, If it's Yoko, 4,050 yen should be fine!
