Vintage Mid Century Modern Drip Glaze Vase 8” Cutout Ceramic Art Pottery. Unsigned.. A rich, glossy burgundy/oxblood base is dramatically layered with cascading earth tones of ochre gold, beige, and moss green that flow organically down the body. Its biomorphic silhouette and tactile glaze perfectly capture the essence of the 1960s–1970s European studio pottery era (highly reminiscent of classic German Fat Lava design). Some crazing in glaze. Bottom shows glaze bubbling and cratering from the kiln firing process.
