A wonderful 1950's-1960s faux silk paisley turban, adjustable with back tie. A piece of Mid-Century Manhattan fashion from Peck And Peck Classic structured mid-century turban design featuring an intricate, concentric spiraled pleat pattern deep red, warm browns, burnt orange, and cream detailed with an intricate mix of paisley and geometric motifs. non smoking home, it has been hand washed. This belonged to my Aunt Corrine who was a great beauty and worked for Elizabeth Arden. She had a wardrobe of these turbans and snoods that she wore for cosmetic applications and for sun bathing.. always gorgeous and glamorous.
