Jackman is a Japanese workwear label produced by Tanabe Meriyasu, a garment factory operating in Fukui, Japan since 1949 — known for heavyweight, texture-rich basics made using traditional Japanese manufacturing techniques.   This style is inspired by vintage baseball umpire trousers, cut from a high-density fabric woven with nepped (slubby) cotton yarn.
