1882 Rogers & Bro A1 Eastlake Silverplate Butter Knife

Beautiful antique Rogers & Bro A1 silverplate master butter knife in the ornate Eastlake pattern, dating to the late 19th century. This striking Victorian serving piece features an elegant twisted handle with elaborate scroll and floral detailing. The broad, curved blade has a deeply engraved asymmetrical floral and vine design that gives the piece its distinctive Victorian Aesthetic Movement appearance.  The handle is clearly marked ROGERS & BRO A1, identifying the maker and silverplate grade. Measuring approximately 7.5 inches long, this is a substantial master butter serving knife rather than an individual place-setting butter knife.  The piece shows normal age-related surface marks and patina consistent with an antique of this age. The intricate engraving and decorative details remain beautifully visible.
