Description: Rare 1-of-1 J.Crew pre-production design sample from Spring 2010. This exact gown was the prototype for what eventually became the famous Taryn Gown (style #22513). While the retail production run was made with a polyester lining, this sample piece is 100% silk throughout (both shell and lining), making it a unique archival piece. Brand: J.Crew (Sample/Pre-production tagged) Style Name: Crinkle Regina Gown/Taryn Gown (Style #22513) Color: Black Plum (Deep rich brown/eggplant plum) Size: Tagged sample size 2 Fabric: 100% Silk (Body and lining) Features: Strapless sweetheart bust with ruched cross-front detailing, internal boning for structure, flowing crinkle silk chiffon floor-length skirt, and a waist tie sash at the back. (Internal loops are hanger straps only). Condition: Excellent sample condition with original hand-written internal design studio tag.
