The FOSTEX Model 3070 Compressor/Limiter is a unit designed to meet a wide range of demands for various compression and limiting effects.

The compressor/limiter slope is continuously variable from 1:1 to ∞:1, with an ∞:1 limiting slope capable of 32dB of gain reduction. This gain reduction amount is displayed on a 5-point LED display.
Furthermore, a significant feature of the Model 3070 is the inclusion of a noise gate. With a 1:2 expander noise gate, you can avoid bothersome background noise even when applying hard limiting.
