Flexy Pro 17L to 42L Expandable Backpack - Graygreen - New/Unused

I bought this as part of their Kickstarter. When it came, I test packed it and walked around the house a bit before realizing it wasn't for me. It's been stored in my bedroom closet ever since.  It's difficult to explain/photograph all of the features of this bag. Their website goes into in-depth detail:  https://www.simpdesign.store/flexypro  This backpack expands from 17L to 42L. Truly. And not all in one go. You can expand different pockets independent of one another to hit various volumes in between.  The bag comes with removable velcro separators and removable inner y-strap. The strap not only provides light compression, but you can also use it to hang the entire bag, effectively using the bag as a traveling wardrobe. A detachable hip belt is also included.  Why this didn't work for me as a 5'4, one-bag traveler:  -Balance. Fully expanded and packed, the bag kept pulling me back and down. -Strap length. I couldn't get the straps comfortably adjusted, even with the load lifters. -Main compartment access. The clamshell opening is against your back. You can't get in and out of the main compartment without taking the bag completely off and undoing the load lifters. If you're using it as a top loader, you can get around this. -Bulk. With the dividers, y-strap, and belt, the bag is 3.3lb. But with all the straps, clips, zippers, folds, and ultra durable material, the bag just felt too bulky on.  Smoke-free, dog/cat-friendly home. No rips, stains, tears, or odors.
