dbx 1066 Compressor Limiter Recording PA Equipment ⑥ Compressor/Limiter/Gate

Operation confirmed.
Power cable is aftermarket.

- 2-channel compressor/limiter/gate. The two channels can operate in stereo.
- Unparalleled high sound quality with a wide frequency range of 200kHz (-3dB) and a dynamic range of 120dB.
- Equipped with a natural-sounding RMS level detection circuit that extracts the power of the input signal in a way that closely approximates human hearing.
- Equipped with a Contour switch to remove unnecessary low-frequency signals from the detection circuit.
- The compressor features the unique OverEasy function, which smooths the knee characteristic, and can be switched to hard knee characteristic. It supports high-quality processing from delicate and smooth gain control to clear and powerful compression.
- Equipped with an AUTO mode that automatically sets attack and release times based on the signal content, achieving dbx's renowned sound quality. It can be switched with manual settings, allowing for desired compression from smooth level fluctuations to sharp attack sounds.
- The limiter employs the unique PeakStopPlus circuit, which combines gain control by an independent RMS level detection circuit with a soft-clip circuit.
