[Product Description]
This is a stereo graphic equalizer made by A&D (AKAI ELECTRIC CO., LTD.). Made in Japan, this model combines the solid design and visual appeal characteristic of A&D in the 1980s.
It features a dual 9-band configuration, allowing for fine adjustment of key frequency bands from 63Hz to 16kHz. You can balance corrections from low to high frequencies, enabling sound customization to match music genres and playback environments.
The front upper section is equipped with a spectrum analyzer display, allowing you to visually check the frequency balance of the input signal. The movement of sound during playback is immediately apparent, providing the characteristic visual flair of audio equipment from that era.
It is equipped with practical controls such as equalizer on/off switching, tape monitor (TAPE1/TAPE2) compatibility, and source switching. A notable feature is the ability to select whether to apply the equalizer during recording.
The heavy-duty chassis and metal panel provide stability as a stationary audio component. It is also suitable for building a system unified with the A&D series, and pairs well with amplifiers and players from the same manufacturer.
