This item has been stored at home for a long time, but it is in beautiful condition. Cloisonné enamel (shippōyaki) is a representative traditional Japanese craft, made by applying vitreous glaze to a metal base such as copper or silver and firing it at a high temperature of approximately 800 degrees Celsius. It was named in the Meiji era, likened to the brilliance of the seven treasures (gold, silver, and precious stones). Its characteristics include vibrant colors, elegant transparency, and colorfast durability.
