This is a vintage unit, manufactured in Japan and sold in 1969.
It is an amplifier from the Trio brand, before it became Kenwood.

Solid-state FM/AM receiver with a wood-grain design.

Uses silicon transistors.

The equalizer amplifier section uses a direct-coupled method.
The direct-coupled amplification method amplifies faithfully down to extremely low frequencies as it is not affected by capacitors or manual work.

The main amplifier section uses an ITL-OTL circuit.
By eliminating output and input transformers, troubles caused by transformers are eliminated.

Equipped with a pure electronic power transistor protection circuit.

The front-end section uses FETs, improving various characteristics such as interference rejection capability.

The IF stage uses a high-gain IC, providing sufficient IF gain and achieving high sensitivity.
Also, since the limiter operates even with small inputs, reception with good S/N and low distortion is possible.

Equipped with an FM mono-stereo automatic switching device, the circuit automatically switches when receiving stereo broadcasts.
A red lamp on the dial illuminates during stereo reception.

Equipped with an SCA filter to prevent interference between SCA broadcasts and FM broadcasts.
