This is an active DI box that is ideal for acoustic instruments such as violins, mandolins, cellos, and upright basses that use piezo pickups. It smoothly outputs even the ultra-high impedance signals from piezo pickups. It provides a warm tone and removes unwanted noise components and peak components often found with piezo pickups. With this unit, a preamplifier between the pickup and the PA is unnecessary. Simply plug in and play.

● Connect a tuner or guitar amplifier
This unit has an AUX terminal for connecting a tuner. Not only tuners but also guitar amplifiers can be connected to this terminal. You can monitor the sound from your amplifier on stage while simultaneously sending a signal to the PA.
● Use the high-pass filter
This unit has a high-pass (= low-cut) filter. This removes low-frequency noise, resulting in a cleaner and clearer sound.
● Invert the phase
The PHASE switch is used to reduce feedback on stage.
● Use with a classical guitar
The best sound is achieved by connecting the piezo pickup directly. A preamplifier is not necessary. The low-pass filter can remove unpleasant resonance. Since it is a balanced signal, noise will not be picked up even with long cables, and the natural sound will be maintained.
