Shimazaki CDC A-Kazeim Perfect Cut Wing CDC Mayfly - 8 pieces total

（No.26-4-9）

❶ Shimazaki CDC Aika-Zaimu

This is an innovative fly pattern primarily made of CDC (cul-de-canard feathers) created by Kenshiro Shimazaki, one of the pioneers of Japanese fly fishing.

【Features of Aika-Zaimu】
① Use of CDC: Instead of hackle, CDC is used, providing high buoyancy (high float) that allows it to drift gently on the water surface, and the delicate texture characteristic of CDC.

② High Versatility: Rather than imitating a specific insect, it is known as an all-purpose pattern that can represent various emerging aquatic insects (imagos and duns) on the water surface.

❷ Perfect Cut Wing CDC Hackling Mayfly

The original is Al Coche's Comparadan. While Al Coche's original uses deer hair for the wing, this version uses cut wing and CDC for hackling.
This delicate, fragile dun floats by pressing down on the water surface. Its appearance perfectly imitates small, soft mayflies that are emerging on the water, beginning to stretch their wings.

⚫️ For stocked fishing ponds:

In early summer (May-June), stocked fishing ponds are a very enjoyable season for dry fly fishing as aquatic insects become active and trout begin to focus on the water surface.

As these are handmade, one by one, there may be slight variations in the specifications and colors of the flies. We appreciate your understanding in advance.
