・Phantom power is required for use.

Microphones with low gain require significant signal amplification, a common concern for engineers. Unfortunately, dynamic microphones, often praised for their superior sound quality, and many ribbon microphones fall into this category. In such cases, Cloud Microphones' 1/2 channel mic activators, the CL-1 and CL-2, are the perfect solution. They can cleanly boost microphone signals by 25dB before they reach the preamp, offering a perfect solution for any situation.

The CloudLifter CL-1 / CL-2 uses phantom power to increase the gain to the required level. It is also ideal for ribbon microphones. It helps combat noise picked up by long cables, making it a favorite among live engineers. By boosting the microphone signal directly after the sound source, it effectively reduces noise and is also useful for XLR connections for acoustic guitars, etc.

As the name Mic Activator suggests, the Cloudlifter CL-1 / CL-2 breathes new life into dynamic and ribbon microphones, offering various benefits in any setting, whether live or in the studio.

*Not compatible with microphones that require phantom power, such as condenser microphones.
