Shakuhachi Bag, Type B

This will be the last listing for Type B shakuhachi bags made with this fabric. I may make more if I can find this fabric again.

Shakuhachi are often around 54 cm long and 5 cm in diameter, but I'm not sure.
I do not own a shakuhachi myself, so I cannot answer questions about whether it will fit.

This is Type B.
This bag is designed to fit shakuhachi up to approximately 58 cm in length with a diameter of about 5 cm.
A drawstring has been added a few centimeters from the opening. The length can be adjusted to some extent by changing the folding position.

The gusset at the top and bottom will be determined by the diameter of the shakuhachi.
Even if the bag is long, if the shakuhachi is thick, a gusset will be created at the top and bottom, making it difficult to fit many items.
For an idea of thickness, I've included a photo of an unopened mini juice can (approx. 5.2 cm) in the third image.
Please consider all photos and descriptions as reference only.
We do not accept returns, custom orders, or complaints. Please purchase only if you are fully satisfied.

The length and width that fit in each shakuhachi bag vary from one item to another.

Height: approx. 73 cm
(Length when not folded)
Width: approx. 10.6 cm

I cannot guarantee how much the color will fade or transfer. Please understand.

The item will be shipped folded. I cannot be responsible for any damage, but you may want to lightly iron it to remove creases.

This is a handmade item. Please handle it with care.
I make these as a hobby. They do not have the same durability as commercially produced items.
Please purchase only if you understand and agree to these precautions.

Due to an increase in postal shipping costs starting October 2024, the prices of items currently for sale have been increased to cover shipping costs.
Please understand.
