By experiencing high-quality sounds from infancy, children's sensitivity can be richly nurtured. That's why we want you to choose an instrument for their first musical experience that is easy to use and has accurate sound with minimal tuning issues. With this wish in mind, BorneLund has meticulously developed its own original xylophone that produces authentic sounds.

The Palette Xylophone has a simple shape, like a palette for mixing paints. It is designed to be easily played by children sitting on the floor. With 13 notes, the range of sounds is expanded, allowing for more sophisticated musical pieces.

This original xylophone was created with an emphasis on the importance of the first sounds a child encounters. The fun of seeing their own actions turn into sound fosters a child's curiosity about sound, which gradually leads to the joy of combining different sounds to play music.

① Keyboard Size
Around 1 year old, children enjoy hitting things to make sounds. The wide, large keys are designed to be easy for small children to hit.

② Accurate Tuning
Accurate tuning nurtures a heart that resonates with beauty. Each note is tuned by a workshop that also manufactures concert xylophones and marimbas.

③ Basics of Sound Play
Adults may think of music = melody, but for young children, it's important to listen to the various sounds around them. The xylophone allows for a variety of expressions, such as loud and soft sounds or fast and slow sounds, by adjusting how each note is struck.
