This is a cap from the A-2 series, issued to the U.S. Navy in the 1960s. When you think of A-2, the deck jacket immediately comes to mind, but this is a rare cap made from the same fabric. The outer material is cotton, and the lining is wool. This is an extremely rare piece manufactured in the 1960s. It has an excellent vintage feel.
