Authentic Funde Drum by a Jamaican Nyabinghi Man
Produces a deep, resonant heartbeat sound with high to mid-range tones.
Can also be used as a Ketedrum for chanting.
This drum is actually used in Nyabinghi chanting in Jamaica, and its sound, tone quality, and volume have been highly praised with no issues.
As it is entirely handmade,
the paint may appear rough, but the quality is top-notch, with no scratches or cracks.
We believe the size and weight are ideal for portability and transport as a Funde drum!
Due to the nature of the skin, warming it for 1-2 hours in good sunlight or by a campfire will enhance its dryness and tone quality, which we recommend as maintenance.
Please confirm the condition in the photos before purchasing.
