Focusing on the fall action of jigs, this rod is designed for a slow-style approach, allowing you to comfortably manipulate various techniques such as slow retrieves, fast retrieves, and combination jerks that skillfully vary jig speed. Shimano's proprietary Spiral X Core structure provides ample strength while thoroughly suppressing unpleasant feelings like twisting and power loss common in thin blanks. It allows for the creation of alluring actions where the jig itself seems to swim, rather than being moved by the angler.
