★Senmaido
This practice originated from numerous legends where Kobo Daishi Kukai himself floated a talisman he wrote on paper in water and gave the blessed water (sacred water) to the sick, achieving healing. By floating a single thin sheet of Senmaido paper on a cup of water and chanting Namu Daishi Henjo Kongo three times while drinking it, it is believed to alleviate various illnesses, promote physical health, fulfill all wishes, and aid in safe childbirth.
