Retro vintage bar stool designed by Dirk van Sliedrecht for Rohe Noordwolde in the 1960s.
Metal base and rattan seat.

In the 1940s, Dirk van Sliedregt began experimenting with rattan and developed several chairs, which were soon taken up by the Noordwolde furniture factory Gebroeders Jonkers. His designs often combined rattan with tubular metal frames, appearing simple at first glance but revealing great complexity upon closer inspection.
