For cats and very small dogs, we select aged, hard branches and peel the bark to create these toys.

Unlike other products, we do not hollow out the wood, scrape off the bark, or shave it, so we have received many happy comments about the hardness and how much dogs take to them!

This is a discounted as-is price because it has been shaved due to insect damage.
Please understand that measurements are approximate as they are taken by an amateur.

Please compare the size to your dog's mouth size and the size of their current stuffed animals or balls.
For dogs in the teething stage, male Japanese dogs, and active breeds with strong chewing power, a slightly thicker diameter that they can just barely grip will allow them to enjoy it for a longer time.

Pearwood branches are less likely to have splinters, and the wood shavings after chewing crumble like cork, so they are harmless if swallowed.
The bark was peeled one by one from pearwood branches from Niigata Prefecture and dried for two years.

As these are amateur handmade items, they are cut with a chainsaw and the small branches are shaved with a belt sander (file). However, please understand that there may be missed spots or cracks/splits due to excessive drying.
As it is made of wood, it will not damage their teeth, and as long as you choose the size carefully, there is no risk of injuring their mouths. However, please supervise your dog while they play.
Please refrain from use if your dog has fruit allergies.
