For cats and very small dogs, we select aged, hard branches and peel them to create these toys.

We've made a set of two, one pearwood and one zelkova wood, for those who want to try both.

Please note that these are amateur measurements and may have errors.

Please compare the size with your pet's mouth size and the size of their current stuffed animals or balls.
For pets in the teething stage, male Japanese dogs, and active breeds with strong chewing power, a thickness that they can just barely hold will allow them to enjoy it for a longer time.

Pearwood branches are less likely to have splinters, and the wood shavings after chewing crumble like cork, so they are harmless if swallowed.
The bark of pearwood branches from Niigata Prefecture has been peeled one by one and dried for two years.

As these are amateur handmade items, they have been cut with a chainsaw and the small branches have been sanded with a belt sander (file), but please understand that there may be missed spots or cracks/splits due to excessive drying.

Since they are wooden, your pet's teeth will not be damaged, and as long as you choose the size carefully, there is no risk of injuring their mouth. However, please allow your pet to play within your sight.

Please refrain from purchasing if your pet has fruit allergies.
