*This item is a washed-up object. It has drifted at sea for a long time and washed ashore on the coast of Okinawa. While drifting at sea, it has been exposed to various natural conditions such as UV degradation, pounding by rough waves, biting by fish, abrasion by sand, and high temperatures on the beach, resulting in many scratches and damages. This is also the charm of washed-up objects. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect item.
I have been enjoying beachcombing as a hobby in the seas of Okinawa for about 20 years. I mainly walk along the shore and collect items after typhoons or when the winter north wind blows. In Okinawa, various things drift ashore from Southeast Asia and other regions carried by the Kuroshio Current. I collect these as a hobby and keep them in my collection. Although it's a hobby, these are precious collections that I have gathered with great effort, and I would ideally like to keep every single one. However, as I am running out of storage space, I am selling them as a way to declutter.
Of course, they can be used as materials for interiors and accessories, but I also recommend contemplating where in the world they came from while holding them in your hands!
There are attached substances, dents, and scratches, but all of them are proof of the story of drifting at sea for days, even hundreds of days. This is also a great charm point of washed-up objects, so I hope you can enjoy them (attached substances can be removed by washing).
I cannot respond to price negotiations, but if you purchase multiple items, I will offer a discount equivalent to the shipping cost saved (or provide a bonus of equivalent value).
I cannot accept returns, exchanges, or refunds after purchase.
The item will be shipped via Yu-Packet or similar service using Yu-Yu Mercari Mail. As it is shipped by sea from Okinawa, it will take about one week to arrive. Please note that it may take longer depending on bad weather.
[Species Name] - Related to *Macrocycans* (formerly *Dioclea*), plump type
[Features] - This species is fun due to the variety of colors and shapes, whether due to different species or individual differences. They look like plump, baked dorayaki, and are beans that are a joy to find! By the way, they are related to the highly regarded beautiful species, Pink Modama.
[Item Condition] - 5 seeds will be sent in a zip-lock bag. They were collected at sea, dried, and then soaked in fresh water and washed thoroughly. However, some of the attached substances present at the time of discovery remain. To remove them, soak them in water for a while and then scrub with the hard side of a dishwashing sponge.
