This is a large water basin that I used to propagate aquatic plants.
If you plan to keep medaka (Japanese killifish), a depth of about 60 cm is recommended, so this basin is not suitable for overwintering in mid-summer or mid-winter.

I used it for hatching medaka eggs attached to aquatic plants and for raising fry to juvenile medaka.
I believe it's possible to keep them until mid-summer in a shaded area, but please be careful about the water drying up in that case. I think it's good to raise them in this pot until they grow a bit, and then return them to the main medaka tank with the adult fish.
