[How to Use the Steamer] Before Use (First Use): 1. Soak new steamers in cold or lukewarm water for about 3 hours before the first use, then gently wash with a dishwashing sponge. Avoid using detergent. Since steamers are handmade, do not wash them too vigorously. 2. Steam in a pot for 30 minutes. After steaming, apply cooking oil to the inside and outside. 3. Dry in a well-ventilated area before use. 4. When steaming food, to prevent the edges of the steamer from scorching, remember to add hot water to the pot when the water level gets low. 5. Steaming times vary depending on the type of food, so occasionally check the doneness by inserting a bamboo skewer. Place ingredients that take longer to steam in the lower tier, and ingredients that cook quickly, such as vegetables, in the upper tier. 6. After use, wash thoroughly and dry. Mold on steamers is caused by food residue and moisture. 7. Store steamers that will not be used for a long time in a dry place, sealed in plastic wrap.
