Description
This is a Richelieu cafe apron made from Kalocsa embroidery fabric, finished with cutwork and stitching. It is a traditional craft from the Kalocsa region, worn as traditional costume for festivals and other events. My family purchased it in Hungary about 30-40 years ago.
The beautiful embroidery on the white fabric features many flowers such as roses, tulips, violets, and forget-me-nots.
While in good condition, there are some minor stains and signs of use. As this is a vintage item, please only purchase if you understand this.
