This is a 10-button peacoat from the 1940s US Navy.
All original buttons are present.
The chin strap, which is often missing, is also included.
The pocket welts are, of course, corduroy.
The tag is a printed NAVAL CLOTHING FACTORY.
There is a faint signature of the original owner from that era.
There is a tear in the lining around the neck.
There are moth holes on both sleeves, only on the surface.
