☆ Check Writer
This item was found while cleaning out my parents' home.
It is believed to be about 60 years old.
This is a specialized machine for printing amounts and other information on documents such as promissory notes, checks, stock certificates, and receipts.
To prevent alteration of the documents, it prints with a special font, and the printed surface is embossed.
In addition to numbers, specific symbols such as ,, ., -, and * can also be printed.
It is mainly used in accounting departments and financial institutions.
This was used in my parents' business and is from the Showa 30s (1955-1964).
