It is an unopened, unused deadstock item, still in its original shrink wrap, and comes with its original box.

[Weight] 782g (has a solid weight and is densely packed)

Natural Aoto is a renowned whetstone from the Tanba region of Kyoto, the only source, and is highly valued by craftsmen. This particular stone is a slender, columnar type, making it ideally sized for sharpening small knives, carving tools, sickles, and other agricultural or carpentry tools, or for fine detailing on kitchen knives.
This natural stone, with its assured quality carefully selected by a long-established shop, is recommended for both collection and practical use. As this is an old item, please check the photos for any age-related deterioration of the box. We will pack it carefully and ship it promptly. Thank you for your consideration.
