This is a handmade umbrella cover.

It's not just for rain umbrellas, but also for parasols, which can get dirty easily because they are made of fabric.
Children may not be able to fold them, or find it troublesome to do so.
I hope this will be useful when your umbrella is in the way.

Construction:
It has elastic at the opening.
This type does not allow water to drain from the bottom.
Rain may accumulate in the bag, so we recommend shaking off some of the water before putting the umbrella in.

Recommended for these situations:
* When a store doesn't have an umbrella stand or umbrella bag. Useful for when you don't want to carry a wet umbrella inside.

* When you're worried about leaving your precious umbrella unattended in an umbrella stand.
Especially during sudden rain or hot days, you might worry about it being taken and can't shop leisurely.

* When you don't want your car interior to get soaked.
(Especially considerate when giving someone a ride.)

* When a closed umbrella gets in the way.
When you have many belongings, are shopping, or are holding a child's hand, an umbrella can be a nuisance. If you thread the elastic through your bag before inserting the umbrella, you can go hands-free.

* Foldable umbrellas are difficult to stand up in umbrella stands.
(Tie the bottom part, fold it back as shown in the photo, and secure it with the elastic.)

* To prevent dust and dirt from accumulating on stored umbrellas.

* For bringing your umbrella home on a bicycle.
While a raincoat is essential for cycling, an umbrella is also needed. For those who keep their umbrella on the rear wheel, this cover protects it from oil, mud splashes, and dirt from tire friction.

Requests and Precautions:
Riding a bicycle with an umbrella in hand is a fineable offense!
It is very difficult to carry an umbrella while riding and there is a risk of it getting caught in the wheel.
Please refrain from using this product on bicycles without a sturdy rear wheel guard or if you feel unsafe.

We also sell a separate item: a magic tape strap to secure an umbrella in the front basket and to the handlebars.
Please use both items at your own risk.

Approximately 10 cm wide, 68 cm long.
No handle.
It has elastic at the opening, so please adjust the size to prevent it from slipping out.

This is water-repellent, not waterproof.
We recommend shaking off some water before inserting the umbrella.
If the water-repellent effect diminishes, please restore it with a waterproofing spray.

This is similar to the bag that comes with an umbrella.
If you feel it is too expensive, please refrain from purchasing.
