Free Shipping! Beautiful Condition Panasonic U-go Japanese Modern Floor Lamp by Makoto Koizumi with Foot Switch

PANASONIC U-go SF491
Japanese Modern Floor Lamp with Foot Switch.

This floor lamp, designed by Makoto Koizumi, features a charming Japanese modern aesthetic. The soft light diffused through the fabric shade envelops the space, making it a versatile piece that complements living rooms, bedrooms, and both Japanese and Western-style rooms.

While there are minor stains, all lamps have been tested and are fully functional. It can still be used practically.

This floor lamp was created in 2004 through a collaboration between Panasonic (then National) and Makoto Koizumi. It is now discontinued. This particular unit was manufactured in 2012, making it a newer model.

It is said to be inspired by the idiom like mushrooms after rain, evoking a simple, understated yet not entirely unremarkable, and uniquely tasteful design characteristic of Makoto Koizumi.

The fabric used for the shade is thick and stretchy. It doesn't transmit too much light, preventing glare. The shade can be easily adjusted by twisting sections to create pleats or straightening them, allowing for customization based on preference and placement.

Despite being released by a major manufacturer, the U-go series rarely appears on the used market, making it quite rare.
Furthermore, this unit has seen little use and is in good condition.
