This is a set of a mini mortar and pestle for mochi pounding, made from domestic natural wood.
With a compact size of approximately 33cm in diameter and weighing about 7-10kg, it can be stored without taking up much space. It is also easy to carry, allowing you to easily enjoy mochi pounding at home, as well as at outdoor events or gatherings.
Since each piece is handmade, the wood grain, color, and knots vary, making it a unique mortar.
Why not experience the traditional Japanese mochi pounding with your family and friends? A mini pestle that is easy for children and adults to use is also included.
