This is the Beach Cloth Casquette [CASQUET HUNTING] [MADE BY THE H.W DOG&CO] from BROWN'S BEACH (Brown's Beach), a brand that thoroughly researches materials and reissues them under license from the popular denim brand FULLCOUNT.

The material used is beach cloth. This material, thoroughly researched from Brown's Beach, was developed over 100 years ago for outdoorsmen. It has a two-layer structure: a cotton knit (raschel knit) on the surface and a wool fleece on the back, similar to sweat material. The fleece on the back accounts for over 70% of the total, and the strong brushing creates durability that belies its knit construction.
The surface uses yarns of two different counts twisted together to reproduce the textured Oxford grey, commonly known as sesame salt, a characteristic atmosphere of Brown's Beach.

This collaboration with THE H.W DOG&CO is a six-panel casquette hunting cap, also known as a newsboy cap. The name is said to have spread because children in the 1930s would wear discarded factory casquettes, tilting the front down to fit their heads. With a shallow fit, it adds a classic atmosphere to any outfit. Both companies' labels are attached inside as proof of the double name.
