Japanese Style Lighting, Vintage, Kyoto, WADA-U, Gourd-Shaped Pendant Light, Excellent Condition, Yamagiwa

This was purchased directly from Wadau by a family member about 17-18 years ago.
It is the same product currently being sold. (F-243)
Since it was intended for use, the Japanese paper has been replaced and is very beautiful.

It is a type that lights up with a switch.

Width: 45cm
Height: 24cm

E26 base x 1
LED bulbs can be used.
The Japanese paper is Mino washi.
LED bulbs can be glaring when viewed from below, so to hide the bulb, Japanese paper has also been applied to the lower opening of the gourd shape. This is how many people have it done now.

The condition of the metal fittings such as the socket is also good.
Please refer to the 11th image for the cord length.
The length of this gourd shape cannot be adjusted. It may be adjustable with a cord clip, but if you want it longer, it will be an additional 15,000 yen.
It needs to be brought to Wadau and the metal fittings and base, which are currently sold, will need to be replaced.
This will take 2-3 weeks.
Please inform us of your desired length before purchasing.

Images 14, 15, and 16.
There are scratches on the inside part.
However, this is a part that cannot be seen once it is installed.

The Akita cedar wooden frame body has an amber color, but it is so beautiful that you wouldn't think it's nearly 20 years old. (This is just a personal opinion.) It is a joinery light that combines wood with wood without using any nails.
