Product Features
Bamboo crossbars are installed in an X shape in the extension boxes to prevent comb from falling. Since bees crawl up walls, these bars are unlikely to interfere with the bees, and regardless of the direction in which the comb is built, it will always cross the bars, making them easy to remove.
The hive box has been notched to allow for the installation of these bars, preventing wires or knives from hitting them during honey harvesting.

The exterior and joining surfaces of the hive box have been torched, but the interior surfaces have not been torched at all.

We also have a nesting box for Japanese honeybee beekeeping available as a starter kit, so please consider that as well.
