This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-dyed, antique linen noren (shop curtain) with a Waves and Plovers design, created using the tsutsugaki (tube drawing) technique on domestically produced pure linen fabric, which is now difficult to obtain.

■ This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-dyed tsutsugaki inner noren that was made and hung several decades ago (around the late Showa period) to welcome guests and serve as a screen for the back of the house.

The linen material offers a light and airy feel, bringing a refreshing breeze indoors. The unique texture of old fabric will only deepen with age, adding to its charm. It can be used in various settings such as Japanese-style rooms, living rooms, and entrances.
It can also be used as a material for remakes by unraveling it, not just as a noren.
