Since the ground ingredients don't get stuck in the grooves, there's no waste, and it's easy to wash,
making cleaning a breeze.
The pestle is also made of ceramic, so you can grind ingredients thoroughly.
This Akatsu Ware mortar is a beautiful traditional craft that can be used as a serving dish
and brought directly to the table.
Comes as a set of two (large and small), so you can choose the size that best suits the ingredients you want to grind.
