The knife was noticeably warped from the time of purchase, even to an amateur. It has since been repaired by a trusted sharpener in Sakai.
The spine has not been reshaped to maintain blade thickness and prevent chipping (steel breakage), so the shinogi line is not perfectly straight.
I would prefer to keep using it, but the handle is too thin to secure it in my knife holder, so I am selling it.
Please check the images for dirt and polishing marks from the repair on the flat and hollow-ground sides.
Despite the imperfections, this knife is easier to sharpen than a new one.
If I have time, I may polish the cutting edge with a natural whetstone. I will update the listing if I do.
