Osaka Karaki Sashimono Rosewood Sashimono Folding Screen, Two-panel, Made by Yoshikatsu, Karaki Furniture, Tea Ceremony Utensils, Low Screen, Japanese Furniture

■ Product Overview
Introducing an elegant two-panel furo-saki screen, rooted in the tradition of Osaka Karaki Sashimono (wood joinery).

This piece, bearing the inscription Made by Yoshikatsu and a label from the Osaka Karaki Sashimono Cooperative Association, signifies its authentic origin and possesses an artistic value that transcends that of a simple partition.

The material is presumed to be a rosewood-type Karaki, inferred from its beautiful reddish-brown grain. Its deep hue and gentle wood grain create a refined elegance.
The precise joinery characteristic of Sashimono, the well-balanced lattice, and the openwork design on the lower panel masterfully blend lightness with a sense of substance.
While adhering to the format of a furo-saki screen for tea ceremony, it also possesses a serene presence that blends seamlessly into modern spaces.
