Carefully stored at my grandfather's house.
Details such as frequency of use are unknown.

A refined set with a calm black base, adorned with gold leaf depicting susuki (pampas grass) and autumn flowers, exuding an elegant aura ?
These bowls embody the Japanese spirit of omotenashi (hospitality), allowing you to enjoy the rising aroma and beautiful painted designs the moment you lift the lid ?

Perfect for New Year's ozoni (soup), celebratory clear soups, or as soup bowls for kaiseki cuisine ?
They also beautifully showcase slightly more substantial dishes when used as simmered dish bowls ?

Although stored for a long time, there are no noticeable scratches or chips.
?? One bowl has a whitish stain on the outside. It could not be removed by washing.
