Description
Thank you for looking.
This is a set of 8 uncarved seal blanks (seal materials): 2 black buffalo horns and 6 Dutch buffalo horns (white buffalo horn/ox horn). These were found while organizing my parents' home.
Size Information:
Black Buffalo Horn Square Seal Blank: 2.4cm x 6.1cm
Black Buffalo Horn Round Seal Blank: 1cm x 6.1cm
Dutch Buffalo Horn Round Seal Blanks:
1.8cm: 1 piece
1.5cm: 4 pieces
1cm: 1 piece
The length of the shorter 1.5cm diameter blanks is 4.5cm; all others are 6cm. (Measurements are approximate and may contain errors.)
The 1cm Dutch buffalo horn blank has a mark (processing) on the top of the face to indicate orientation.
Additionally, the three longer 1.5cm blanks and the 1.8cm blank lack the characteristic patterns of Dutch buffalo horn, suggesting they are high-quality materials likely referred to as white buffalo horn or mid-white.
The black buffalo horn round seal blank has minor chips on the face. They should be usable after polishing.
No other chips or cracks were found, but please refrain from purchasing if you are seeking perfection, as these have been stored for a long time. *Engraving services are not available!*
We do not offer individual sales or discounts.
