This rice tub is crafted from precious straight-grained wood of Kiso Sawara cypress, aged over 100 years. Its straight-grained construction ensures excellent water absorbency, and Kiso Sawara itself is highly resistant to moisture, making it a durable item for long-term use.

Purchased from a shop handling genuine Azmaya products about 7-8 years ago.
Used approximately 5 times, and stored in a cool, dark place at home for the past few years.
There are signs of aging on the copper parts.
There is some darkening on the underside of the lid, the bottom of the body, and areas where the lid overlaps.
