Benefits

Small to medium cut seedlings, 4-10mm in diameter, approximately 12cm long
4-5 cuttings per order

Upon arrival, soak in water and then attempt to root cuttings in a sunny indoor location.
(We have pre-treated them with Menédeur rooting solution and watered them.)

Cuttings Method

Watering

Soak for at least 1 hour. This simple step is crucial for success; skipping it will lower the success rate.

5. Prepare the Cutting Bed

The most important consideration when preparing the cutting bed is to prevent bacterial contamination.
(We recommend using commercially available rooting soil.)

Prepare pots and drainage mesh.

Any pot will do, but ensure cuttings are spaced at least 5 cm apart.

Make holes in the soil.

After watering thoroughly, use your finger or a thin stick to make holes where the cuttings will be inserted. Never use the cutting itself to make the hole!

6. Finishing

Insert about 1/2 of the total length of the cutting into the soil. Gently firm the soil around the base to secure it. Then, water thoroughly again to complete the cuttings process.

Post-Cuttings Care

1. General Care

When caring for cuttings, pay attention to the following two points:

The ideal temperature for general cuttings is 20°C to 25°C.

Avoid direct sunlight in a south-facing location during hot weather. Place in bright shade. When we took cuttings in August, we succeeded by placing them outdoors facing north.

Conversely, if it's too cold, roots will not form. During cold periods, place them indoors in a sunny spot and monitor their condition.
