A popular fig variety in Japan, known for its closed eye that resists rot, vigorous growth, abundant fruiting, and quick, delicious harvest.
It's a highly attractive variety that thrives even with minimal care, making it especially recommended for home gardens.
The taste is juicy with a smooth texture and a clean, elegant sweetness. It's a sugar-type fig with a well-balanced blend of sweetness and acidity.
While best enjoyed fresh, it's also excellent for processing into jams, compotes, pies, cookies, and other baked goods.
