Description

This is a specimen of the Asian giant hornet collected this season.

This hornet species is found in beech forests and other areas where its host, the Japanese giant hornet, lives. Its unique behavior of successfully hijacking nests has been closely observed in recent years, and it's a fascinating hornet to research.

*Please note that as this is a wild-collected specimen, there may be minor scuffs. Please examine the photos carefully before considering your purchase.
