Description
Usta Moth Cocoons - Set of 4
Does not resemble Totoro's face.
They emerge from late autumn to early winter, so cocoons found in winter are said to be empty shells.
Created with the image of a green Totoro in mind
(Not directly stated).
They are cute even when displayed as they are.
Collected January 2026.
The emerald green cocoons swaying gently with the bamboo leaves
are truly beautiful.
They are sometimes called Forest Jewels or Green Totoro.
When I first found one, I didn't know what it was, but its beautiful emerald green color and gentle swaying caught my eye, becoming one of the joys of my walks.
In some places, they are considered amulets for warding off evil spirits and bad luck, and are seen as lucky charms.
Currently, they are my family's treasures, serving as guardian spirit objects for our home and the forest.
Visitors are always intrigued.
For shipping, the branches may be bent or cut to fit into the container. We appreciate your understanding and consent.
