This new series from Seiko 5 Sports is based on the beloved Seiko sports watch SNXS model and developed with the concept of EDC (Everyday Carry) - a companion you carry every day. It inherits the compact size characteristic of the SNXS model, the flowing full-flow case shape with a bulge in the center that the development department affectionately called hebitama (snake egg), and the crown positioned at 4 o'clock that doesn't interrupt the flow, while incorporating various improvements and evolving.
The sporty, glossy black dial features a second hand in the orange color often used in 1970s 5 Sports models, providing a clear contrast with the hour and minute hands.
The 11 bar indexes, with their beautiful metallic sheen, and the precise hour and minute hands, with their cut tips and peaked upper surfaces, are treated with Lumibrite.
The case has been evolved with the lug position lowered to follow the curve of the wrist for a comfortable fit, and the combination of hairline and mirror finishes achieves a stylish and high-quality look.
The newly developed metal bracelet offers both a comfortable weight and a pleasant fit on the wrist. The three-dimensional, barrel-shaped links create beautiful shadows, giving it a classic impression that blends newness and nostalgia.
