Mucuna bean seeds, 20 seeds, naturally cultivated

Mucuna beans are a climbing legume native to India. Their main characteristic is their high content of L-DOPA, a precursor to dopamine. In Japan, they are known as Hassho-mame (eight-sho bean) and were cultivated in warm regions of western Japan until around the Edo period.

Sowing: Mid-April to late May (after the minimum temperature reaches 10°C and there is no longer a risk of frost)
Harvest: Late October to November (just before the first frost, when the pods are dry and brown)
